Well this is what my relaxing day off from work holds for me.....LOL. Pic's included...LOL
Taking my cute little PT Cruiser for an 8 am oil change appointment at the dealership. Why the dealership you say? When all oil changes for my car are done their.....I have a lifetime power train replacement and repair warranty. That sounds great to Bob and me considering all the previous car troubles we have had with our last 2 cars. Money well spent!
Then off to Sam's Club really early to find some reduced meat deals then "RUN" out the door fast as I can before all of those "over spending temptations" flood my brain and over run my will power to stay on budget....LOL.
Then a brief stop for some personal pampering for myself. I am going to indulge in having my nails done. Between stress, frustration, anger, and working a full time job, you can see the effects of all the previously mentioned problems visibly on my hands and nails. My hands DO NOT look professional, heck they don't even look pretty. So TODAY that ends. I'm treating myself from now on with having my nails done. I need a little "pretty" pick me up. YEAH!
After some much well deserved pampering, I will then go to Aldi's to hunt for more deals on groceries. Gee, I really love this store! I could care less about the decor of a grocery store, because in the long run I am the one who pays for all of those fancy and attractive upgrades. so give me simple, plain, basic, and visually boring interior design and then give me fabulous deals on groceries to feed my family!!!! YEAH!
Next, I will go by CVS, with coupons in hand, to pick up some health and beauty items that are needed for my family. LUV CVS and their coupon usage all combined with my cvs saving card!!!!! Makes me a very happy lady!
As soon as I get home, carry in all the groceries, put them away, and grab a soda.....then I will begin the long rotation of doing all the laundry. SEE ME SMILE???
LOL!
While I go up and down the stairs rotating laundry, in between this, I shall start in the back of the house, and clean each room, one by one until I get to the front door. Leaving each room with a sparkle and clean fresh sent.
Then I will be cooking dinner. Tonight we are having smoked ham, green beans, mashed potatoes and homemade cornbread.
So how are you going to spend your "RELAXING" day off??? LOL.

My daughter and I are making a big breakfast - biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, coffee, hot chocolate, orange juice.
Later we will go to my parents house - my husband is going to work on our taxes. So good thing we did a big cleaning on Thursday! I think for me it will be a relaxing day.
