Our Marine is home from Afghanistan.....

Today at 2pm Bob and I watched 4 buses roll into the MCAS Beaufort hanger bay. On bus number 4 was our little redneck...our Bobby...our baby boy who is now a MAN!
I had promised myself I was NOT going to cry. Well as soon as I saw him coming over to me with his arms open wide for a hug from mama.....I LOST IT! I started crying soon as he wrapped his arms around me and hugged me!
It took some time for him to check in....get his new baracks room assignment and then we left the base. He gets time off base for a day or so then we have to leave.
I don't think I have ever had more maternal and American pride in me all at the same time as I did today!
Today...I also don't think I have ever been more grateful to my Heavenly Father for the safety of one of my babes as I am today!
Thank you Lord for protecting our son and bringing Lcpl Robert W.  home safe and sound.
Well I gota go for now. We just finished dinner and are back in the hotel for some hanging out time with "OUR HERO"!
Ps....in the picture Bobby is on the phone with his "sissy". He's 21 and she's 25. She calls her little brother..."big ugly"...and he has ALWAYS called her sissy. Ain't that cute? Um yes it is!
Love & Prayers
Ronda
Have a Peachy Keen Day!
WE SURE ARE....GRIN GRIN GRIN!
